Hi, I’m Kim, author, illustrator and promoter. I work as the brand Inspire by Kim.

I create for personal projects and also make new bespoke work for art commissioners. I also have illustrations available for licensing for marketing or editorial uses.

I create illustrations, art, animation and write PR content.

I work in a range of media including paint, paper and fabric and at my studio in Yorkshire, UK.

Fabric and Wallpaper Design

I have developed a range of fabric designs to represent modern snowsports, these are ideal for ski themed rooms or ski chalet interiors.

The fabric designs which are available for licensing for clothing, products and accessories. I also have fabric, and wallpaper, designs available to order to be printed on demand by Spoonflower.

The surface pattern designs make it possible to have snowsport themed soft furnishings, clothing and accessories.

A SELECTION OF MY FAVOURITE WORK

MY STORY

I have managed the press offices for three of the UK’s leading travel companies. Encouraging people to explore new places and experience fresh perspectives through travel features, leading press trips, hosting travel TV crews and creative PR campaigns to launch new airlines, flight routes, airports, cruise itineraries and technology.

Love of the natural world led me to fuel a movement in the travel industry to reduce environmental impact and to operate sustainable, socially responsible practices.

Since suffering acute knee injury, and ACL reconstruction surgery, I have focussed increasingly on visual forms of communication, studying and explored art, design and illustration. Sport, travel and the environment are key themes of my work.
